Policies

Plain terms need
real operating facts.

This page establishes the required policy structure without copying contradictory legacy terms or inventing a legal operator, jurisdiction, address, or guarantee.

Privacy framework

The request form should collect only contact details, device type, general availability, and a description needed to review the issue. Customers must not submit passwords, recovery keys, payment details, or sensitive documents. Final policy language must identify the operator, lawful basis, retention periods, processors, security practices, customer rights, and verified contact method.

Service terms framework

Before work begins, the customer should receive the approved scope, time limit, price, supported device, access method, and important exclusions. Additional time, parts, shipping, or changed work requires separate approval. Remote support cannot guarantee a specific outcome.

Cancellation framework

The final policy should state how much notice is required, whether late cancellation or missed-session fees apply, what happens when PC Techies must reschedule, and how mail-in shipping affects cancellation. Do not publish a response window that staffing cannot support.

Refund framework

Refund terms must match the actual service model and applicable law. They should explain treatment of completed time, unresolved issues, unperformed work, parts, diagnosis, shipping, and customer-authorized changes. Legacy subscription language should not be reused for one-time scheduled support.

Independent-provider notice

PC Techies is an independent service provider. Product and company names may be used to describe compatibility or the subject of a support request. Their use does not imply authorization, sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement by the manufacturer or publisher.

Not final legal text: Insert the verified legal business name, service area, jurisdiction, contact address, effective date, and professionally reviewed terms before activation.
